Branding
The UTDallas Student Government aims to improve the campus experience for students. It does so through hosting social events, offering academic developement oppurtuinties and fun service experiences. It is an organization run by students for student. Keeping this in mind as I designed the branding guidelines, I kept with a bright, high-contrast color pallette inspired by UTDallas' school colors. and used bold, yet readable fonts. We keep graphics simple and use photos of student government senators when able in order to present the brand as approachable to students. The main platforms used are Instagram and Linkedin. The brand voice on both platforms are meant to be friendly, positive and use 'we' rather than 'I'. However, posts on Linkedin are more professonal in tone and subject while Instagram is more casual and focusing on fun events that students can participate in, to optimize the audience make up of each platform.
